Cristela Alonso is an American actor, comedian, producer and writer. Cristela the TV show which began airing in 2014, is her most recognizable TV project. She was the first Latina to ever create or write, and then produce, her own show for a network. Her career began with Los Angeles after she moved from Texas. She's been on television programs like Sons of Anarchy' and General Hospital. She has also written for TV programs like Mind of Mencia. The show also featured her as presenter and host on "The The View". In addition, she was director on a couple of films, including The Angry Birds Movie.
