AlexAlexandra Morgan Carrasco (American professional soccer player) is a striker. She is also captain of the San Diego Wave FC of National Women's Soccer League, the highest division in women's professional soccer. From 2018 until 2020, she co-captained the US women's national soccer team together with Megan Rapinoe. [8][9] Shortly after graduating in the early years of the University of California, Berkeley in the USA, where she played for the California Golden Bears, Morgan was selected as the top pick in the 2011 WPS Draft by the Western New York Flash. Morgan made her debut as a professional at the club and helped the team win the league championship. Morgan scored the game-winning goal in the semi-final match against Canada in the semi-final match at the 2012 London Olympics. Following her selection as the U.S. Soccer Female Player of the year Morgan was also an FIFA World Player of the Award finalist. Morgan has also played a role in helping the United States win their titles in the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women's World Cups, where she was named to the Dream Team for both tournaments as well as winning the Silver Boot in 2019.
