COLUMBIA, S.C. Columbia Police Department officers were constantly searching for Sims who went missing since Christmas. They also arrested Taylor Wardlaw in connection with the death of his friend. Authorities say Eddie Brown (30), was indicted for being an accomplice in the death. Sims was a man of 26 that was last seen living in a house located on Ervin Street in Columbia Dec. 20. According to the police, his girlfriend Wardlaw identified Sims as missing on the night of Dec. 22. It was reported that the body of Sims was found on Wednesday, near Monticello Road. Naida Ruterford, Richland County Coroner said that the body had been discovered. Skip Holbrook, the chief of Columbia Police says Wardlaw has been charged with murder aswell as possessing a firearm in the perpetration of a violent act.
