Her most well-known work is her part in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain as well as being the lead vocalist of Apollonia 6, a girl group. The actor and singer who was christened Apollonia by Prince and became one of a number of female artists in the '80s that benefited from her connection with Prince, the Purple One.
